Impact Opportunities

- In 1 month, you will have familiarized yourself with our codebase and contributed to aspects of a new or ongoing project in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering team members
- In 3 months, you will have assisted in writing technical briefs and documentation with guidance
- In 6 months, you will have lead the development of an in-house self service tool for users

Role & Responsibilities

- Support Learning Engagement team with delivery of product features for end to end web applications
- Work closely with the founding engineers, and co-founders to translate UI/UX designs into client-side, responsive web applications
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, researchers, and product to design and develop prototypes for advances features or designs
- Support the team in establishing high standards for code quality, documentation, and UI/UX

Ideal Qualifications

- 1 year of experience working hands-on as a software engineer
- Are excited about innovation and automations
- Experience with React and Rails
- Familiarity with Apollo and interfacing with GraphQL APIs
- Able to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
- Strong understanding of Software Development life cycle
- Experience working with Cloud environments such as AWS
